There is no such thing as the crime of "fiduciary" embezzlement. Nor tis there a crime known as embezzlement in Colorado .. the crime is Theft and the typical statute of limitations in Colorado for Theft is 3 years. If this is a so called "special victim" theft -- such as theft from the elderly - the punishment may be enhanced but the length of the statute of limitations remains the same if the crime is a felony.
