Sarasota, FL asked in Civil Rights for Florida

Q: Fl Dept. of Rev. is blocking me from getting my child support because I receive Food stamps, I'm the custodial parent.

When I lived in Brooklyn, NY, I initiated a Child support case and NY granted me an order to collect child support from my sons father. I moved to Flordia, and applied for Food stamps due to financial hardship. Once I did this Florida began to intercept my child support payments. FLordia was sending me some of the payments they collected, and since September of 2012 FDOR stopped sending me my payments. They also refuse to give me financial information about my case and I am unable to get financial information from NY since the case is considered an "Interstate Case". I have been requesting an audit from Florida since Feb 2012 to no avail. At this time, I feel as if the Sate of Florida, FDOR, and AFDC are punishing me for collecting Food stamps. My child and I have suffered irreparable damages from FDOR's actions. What can I do?
