Q: Can back child support be paid directly to my daughter?
My daughter just turn 18 and her mom kicked her out of their house. She is living with me now. I do owe back child support. Now that she is staying with me can that amount be deducted or is there any way that the money can go straight to her.
A: No. The back child support is owed to the mother, not the daughter, for supporting her during the time that you did not pay.
