Ocala, FL asked in Probate for Florida

Q: If a widow in Florida dies with one deceased child and 2 living children and no will, what happens to her estate?

My grandfather dies 15 years ago and my grandmother dies 5 years ago. She has 3 sons. One died 10 years ago (my father from NY) and 2 are still living (from SC and CA). One (from SC) claims that she had no will and no money, but he took control of her house and bank accounts and spent a load of money upgrading his house soon after her death. What SHOULD have happened to her assets and is it too late to do anything about it?
