Q: 2010 failure to obey law enf. officer ticket for driving through where an accident happened in Fl. Can I get off record?
Plead no contest in court & paid fine because I could not take addtl time off work or would lose job for another court date. Now is still on my record & preventing me from getting jobs because background check says "guilty conviction" was told recently it cannot be expunged.
A: You needed an attorney then, and you need one now. It might be possible to clear up this mess.
