Q: Mother gave my ferret away as a donation. I am fourteen and want her back.
On Thursday, my mother gave my ferret away to a local small animal centre. She did this because she believes it is what's best for her, but I am incredibly uncomfortable about the fact that she will be handled by young children. Also, the centre recently have a break in. I may be just fourteen, but I am incredibly annoyed that I was not consulted over this decision. It happened when I was in school. I have contributed financially towards her care. If I provide suitable accommodation for her, is there any way I can get my ferret back.
