Sanford, FL asked in Family Law for Florida

Q: Am I obligated to respond to a State support order review? Can they change the child support w/o going before a judge?

I received a letter from the Fl Dept of revenue saying that they had started a support order review. They sent a financial affidavit for me to fill out in the regular mail. I currently pay child support and am current on all payments. (my concern is that when child support was originally agreed upon in mediation, it was based on the mother's ability to make an income, but still today she is supported by her boyfriend and has no income....I pay for 100% of my childs needs and have since before the divorce and I am good with that.....I just don't want to get stuck financing my ex because she chooses not to work)
