Q: my son just got takin by guardian and given to his mom that he has never met can she adopt him out with out me known?

my sons mom just finished her case plan about a month before this she put a domestic vilence charge against me she as soon as she finished the plan i was under supervised visits once a week wiht him so the state took him from my moms where he has lived since he was 1 month old he will be 3in October 2014, he was enrolled in a christian day care he attended every day , his environment was very stable with a routine . Now he is gone with the mom she has no car no liceance we are not allowed to know were she lives he has only met her at visitation if she didn't cancel she lost him due to drugs when he was 3 weeks old she had him out at 1 am drivin on a suspended caught with pills wout a script dcf toook him to foster till my mom got him at about a month old . she didn't finish her first case plan by Oct 2012 so they told the grandma that she lost her rights to him mean while she had another baby and they are brothers she was wanted by sheriffs dept for fta she left the hospital while the

A: Make sure you retain a lawyer asap. You are entitled to notice and due process so long as you are on the birth certificate of the child.
