Melbourne, FL asked in Social Security for Florida

Q: Why would SSDI want to review my case and possibly close it?

I have been disabled all of my life and have only received benefits for three years. Recently I have had no choice but to have a minimum wage, part time job to help cover expenses.Up to and including medical expenses. I have had 13 gran maul seizures and have complex partials on a daily basis. Also, I have a rare VP shunt in place which can not be removed. Any insight as to why they would do this all of a sudden would help me to understand and know how to proceed. Thank you

A: They review cases once in a while to make sure that people are still disabled.
