Franklin, TN asked in Probate for Florida

Q: What do I do with this?

My wife's father just passed away. In his will, he says her and her sister's names are his daughters. "I make no prevision or mention of them in this will, as they are otherwise well taken care of and they will always be in my prayers."

They are both in their 30's. Can they contest? What does well taken care of mean? This was written 5 years ago, what if one was sick now? He left his estate to friends outside the family. Also, none of the 5 Grandchildren are mentioned in the WILL. Did he intend to do something for them? They've never even seen this WILL until today. They had their own WILL but this one if more recent. It's suprising as they lost one of their sisters, and he donated money for that child a charity that their mom and dad created.

A: What do you do? Find out if the will was the product of undue influence and if it was, and you can prove it, then you need an attorney. The best thing to do whenever you have a legal question is to go see an attorney.
