I have a girlfriend who recently was divorced in Puerto Rico. Now, she had a child with her ex-husband. She has full custody of child due to the father being a negligent abusive husband. Now, I want to marry this girl. What must she do in order for me to marry her here in Florida where I reside. Also, what she must do on her end to come and live with me.
A: Well you and her have to apply for a marriage license at the county courthouse and then get married. She has to travel here in order to marry you here and live here. Isn't this just common sense?
