Q: I want to move myself and son back to NY from FL. Can I do so because i am not married?
My Son's father has a felony for drugs and is very verbally abusive. I am not married to him and for the best interest of my child and myself need to move back to NY. Is this possible and legal to do so, there is no court order for me to stay and we have nothing filed for custody of the baby.

Yes you can move if no court orders in place and not married to the father.
