Asked in Criminal Law for Florida

Q: I would like to know if I have a case for law suite against law enforcement and press charges against my ex.

Ex is on probation for domestic violence against me, has lengthy criminal record (I wasn't aware of all his charges) he violated probation, I called authorities they did nothing because they didn't show on the system they have in their cars that he has an injunction as part of his probation. He gets mad, files false charges on me, and they come and arrest me in front of my 2 year old grandson I am raising and was in jail two days. This has totally disrupted the way I live, it has affected my grandson, he's afraid of me leaving him. My nerves are shot, I stay stressed scared .I am the victim and was not protected from this man. And now he is considered a victim. He filed a fraudulent tax return by claiming my grandson then also filed mine having funds deposited into his personal acct. I wasn't protected from him by our law enforcement. If they would've violated him. I wouldnt have charges. I want to file suite against law enforcement angency that didn't protect me, do i have a case

A: I do not believe that you have a case on these facts. There must be more to it. Go see an attorney about this.
