Q: My wife and I live in Florida and she took my 2 year old daughter to Utah and threatening she will not return. Options?
She bought a round trip ticket 11/1/14 returning 11/19/14. She informed me today 11/9/14 that she would not be returning. I need to know what steps to take to enforce her to return with my daughter. I have not filed for divorce. I discovered emails that she was having an inappropriate relationship with her ex boyfriend in Utah and she had told this man that she wanted to take my child and not return.
A: You need to file your case in FL for custody and return of the child asap. Use of a lawyer is recommended.
