He stopped payment filed hardship, had his job fire him for production so he could collect unemployment. and has not gotten a legal job since on papers. they keep telling me they have a petition to stop payment he does nothave to pay! I had child support for only 3 years. My son is 12. And I am tired of not being able to get follow up medical treatment formy cancer all becasue I have to pay for everything. And he does nothing. How can i get this away from dept of revenue who does NOTHING to help me. I fill out the papers they send like 5 times and hear nothing when i call and call and call. I w2ant this to go to a judge to decide once and for all what he will pay and how long.

A: If you are dissatisfied with DOR it is time to hire a private attorney to deal with the issues. Was support ordered? Did he move to suspend the child support or file a petition for modification? Any attorney will need to speak with you regarding the status of the case before any legal conclusions can be made as to how to proceed. If child support has already been ordered, it might just be appropriate to file a motion for contempt and have a hearing.
