Q: Why would a Judge not sign agreed divorce papers

Two people have agreed to a divorce, signed papers agreed upon by them and there attorney. No children, no alimony, husband keep business, property settled. Why would the Judge ask to see financial papers before signing off on the divorce?

A: You cannot waive financial affidavits. They have to be filed.
