Q: if you already won an appeal is it a bad sign that supreme court will be hearing it? Prosecutor has appealed to them. I

This is nj appellate division. Ruled in favor of inmate.

Is it a bad sign that the higher court sees a problem with the decision and want to rule against appellate court. He won first part of appeal and hoped he would soon be released. But now worried about supreme court

It is a sign that the State does not agree with the lower courts decision and the State wishes to have further review.

Q: Is it legal for a official to use torture to get you to agree to take a plea?

Sleep deprivation and touching of intimate spaces over and over. Want force a deal for something I do not owe and am innocent of. I have signed nothing. do rights pertain to people who are not being detained but are being harassed and targeted too.

Q: Hello I live in condominium. I was taking out my garbage and this lady was recording from her condo. I live in NJ.

Is this legal? And what should I do? I feel like my privacy was affected by this? What legal steps should I take? The garbage container is right in front of my house and she lives across the street.
