There isn't a numbered limit in the Pennsylvania Rules, but some counties will limit the number of questions in their local rules. Philadelphia is one such county for example. Check the local rules of civil procedure in whatever county the case is filed. Best of luck.

First of all, I'm glad your son seems to be ok from the accident. At court you and your son may have the opportunity to talk with the officer about getting rid of or reducing the number of points that could be assessed to his license. You can always ask the court for a continuance if... View More

Hello, My 16 yr old daughter's car is in my name. Today I received a citation in the mail in my name for a $350.00 fine for "obedience to traffic control devices". The fine is doubled because the incident took place in a work zone. The notes indicate "Driver nearly caused a... View More

Yes, you need to plead not guilty. Really, the citation should be dismissed altogether. The officer then has an opportunity to re-file after learning the correct identity of the driver. In my experience, most officers will not re-file against your daughter, but there's a chance he/she will... View More

Q: What is the penalty for CDL title 75 code 3309(1)

Do I plead guilty or not guilty?

answered on Jan 20, 2022

There is a $25 fine (plus costs) but it will not assess any points on your license if you have a PA license. However, if you have a license from another state (other than PA), and/or a CDL, you need to fight the citation. Section 3309 is considered a serious traffic offense for commercial drivers.... Q: Does the "Confidential Information Section" show up anywhere else besides the citation? On record or anything?

I got pulled over for going 86 on a 40 work zone. State trooper gave me a pass for that due to my clean record. He said he'd cite me for not turning hazard lights on when pulled over. In the citation there's a confidential information section, that says i was pulled over for going 86 on a... View More

The only thing that will be made part of the public record is that you received a citation for violated section 4305 (the hazard lights). The trooper likely wrote 86 in a 40 in other section in the event you were to challenge the citation in court - it would remind him as to why he initially pulled... View More

Q: Does a ticket for failure to put on hazard lights when being pulled over on a highway come with points? It's 75 4305(a)

I was pulled over for speeding. I was trying to speed up to pass and change lanes because the car behind me was driving way to close to my tail. Officer pulled me over. Didn't end up giving me a speeding ticket when I explained it but did give me a ticket for not putting on my flashers when he... View More

I can for certain that if you have a Pennsylvania license, you will not receive any points for that section. That may vary if you have an out of state license, but I have never seen that section result in points even for an out of state license. Best wishes.

I was ticketed for “Operating Unregistered Vehicle” as it was expired by a few months and had slipped my mind. If the amount of damages to the other car exceeds your property damage coverage on your insurance policy, you will be responsible for the excess amount. For example, if your property damage limits were $10,000 and the repairs to the other vehicle were $12,000, your insurance will pay the $10,000... View More
