Q: When does a no contact order end?

I just had my criminal charges dismissed without prejudice. Now, the person who filed the police report and demanded charges be pressed against me is contacting me and my wife. Are we allowed to tell her to leave us alone???

Typically, in a criminal case, the no contact order ends when the case is dismissed. However, there are times when a civil order or protection or no contact order, which is separate from the criminal case, is still in place and enforceable even after the criminal charges are dismissed.
