Yes a lawyer can help you even if you plan to plead guilty. However, most importantly a lawyer can advise you as to whether or not you should plead guilty or not guilty. You should contact an experienced DUI lawyer.

No. The Tennessee DUI law is limited to driving on a public road or a place which is generally frequented by the public, such as a shopping center or apartment complex.

The expunction statute excludes DUIs specifically. DUI is one of the few misdemeanor crimes that cannot be expunged.

Q: My husband was arrested for dui and blood test showed negative for alcohol. 892 ng/ml diazepam - prescribed

Marijuana 118 ng/ml

Serax 67 ng/ml. Prescribed

Is he over the Tn. Legal driving limit on any of the above? What are the legal limits?

Tennessee does not set a legal limit for prescription drugs or marijuana. Your husband needs to consult with an experienced DUI lawyer so that he can better understand his case and his options.

Methamphetamine is metabolized fairly quickly as compared to other drugs. You should discuss your case with an experienced DUI lawyer to help you figure out whether what might show up in the blood test.

No you cannot chose what field sobriety test the officer ask you to preform. You can refuse field sobriety test and can explain why a particular test might not be a good idea for you, such as explaining to the cop that your bad back might prevent you from walking a straight line. Q: 59yo female, NO record. Charges: DUI, improper lane usage & felony reckless endangerment

0 BAC, Doctor-prescribed meds showed in blood within proper doseages. (docs wrote letters with explanations.) Offered 18 months - normal for 1st offense?

- 2+ year old case

- lawyer hired but not a lot of help (tried to find a new one but had issues with case being so old)
