They may sue you. You'll only be liable, however, if the dog has previously shown a violent propensity.

That is going to fall under the medical malpractice realm. It would be best to call a local medical malpractice attorney and discuss your case in detail with them. Most provide a free consultation and don't charge an upfront fee.

The answer is one that will depend on a plethora of facts, but it is likely yes. If you were injured at work, however, this will be a workers compensation issue, not a personal injury issue. It would be wise to contact a local personal injury lawyer.

Any Med-Pay advances have to be paid back to the insurer out of the final settlement. That's likely what happened here.

Q: Do I have to notify person I'm suing over a dog bite of who I'm supeonaing? Isn't that only in normal court?

What are the laws in Indiana for dog bites? Isn't it the state law that you have to report every bite? I was told that a dog has to be quarantined for 10 days after he bites and it has to be reported. Is that correct? Are there some dog bite laws and where might I find them? Thank you.

The fact that you're asking such a question is odd? Are you planning to hurt your mother or just being extra cautious? If it's the ladder I think you're putting too much thought into caring for a loved one.
