Q: We currently have a case in SC but recently moved to OH... would we have to obtain a lawyer in SC or OH?

If you have an active domestic case in SC, that court retains jurisdiction. You would need to find a lawyer in SC. A motion can be made in that court to transfer the case to an Ohio court in very limited circumstances.

Q: I lost my children due to allegations against my now deceased husband that were not proven. No charges were pressed.

How do I go about getting custody back when I pay child support and work my self to death to do that and have very little left to live on and support my kids when I do get them to get a lawyer and go back to court?

You will have to file a complaint in the appropriate court for the establishment of parental rights and responsibilities. Retain the assistance of counsel to advise you and to ensure that everything is done properly.
