I'm charged with trafficking in illegal paraphernalia how's it trafficking when I was caught with 1 glass pipe

Q: Is it a HIPPA violation for an officer to stand in on a medical apt with a person who is in the county jail?

My husband was arrested and was having a medical evaluation at the county jail here in Oklahoma and while the doctor was screening him,an officer at the jail was present in the room without my husbands consent.

No this is not a HIPPA violation. When a person is in custody, medical staff have a right to be secure in their safety, if an officer is present then that is allowed.

Q: In Oklahoma, is the cop required to tell you the amount of the ticket when he gives it to you?

In this instance it was for running a stop sign. There is no amount on the ticket and I was not told how much I have to pay

No they are not required to tell you how much. The court clerk will be able to tell you the exact cost. You can just call them and ask, alternatively most have online payments and will have the amount when you put in the ticket number.

Q: DHS placed grand child in my custody. 1 year 6 months later we want to return child to parents. Can DHS prevent this?

Originally it was supposed to be a month. Mother is supposed to go to rehab. Left after detox.

DHS decision will prevail in reunification with the parent(s) - if you do not want any longer then contact DHS and they will place in another home until the parent(s) either complete their tasks and are reunified or they terminate parental rights.

Sorry you are having g to go through this tough time in your family. If your mother has an advance directive then that is to be followed, including having a medical proxy for making decisions. If she does not then they will turn to next of kin, which starts with spouse.

You could have waited and not negotiated and you would probably have received the 20%. There isn’t much you can do since you accepted the 10%. You can always ask your superiors for the additional 10% since you signed in good faith.

CPS decision to pursue things is solely independent of any other actions. Regardless of whether you pursue the issue or not, once CPS determines a need for action then your action no longer has any bearing on what CPS does.

Jury trials are a constitutional right in criminal hearings, not civil such as divorce. You can demand for one (can demand anything), but the short answer is you will not get one for a divorce.

Not while he is your fiancé / after you get married then you can do a step-parent adoption. But the biological father will still have to give consent or you will have to prove in court why his consent is not necessary. Contact a family lawyer/adoption attorney for your best course of action.

If you know who the father is then you need to get the dna completed and then have him sign a consent to the adoption. This is much faster and easier than having to do other things when the father is unknown. Contact an adoption attorney for your best course of action.
