If you successfully completed deferred adjudication probation, you are not a convicted felon. If you were placed on straight probation, you have been convicted of a felony.

Q: Can my husband fire his court appointed attorney and request a new one?

He has requested an attorney visit, his discovery, a bond reduction/ bond on his no bond and she's done none of that, she doesn't answer messages or calls, and today she just didn't show up for court is this grounds to fire her and request new counsel?

You can make any request you desire, but in attempting not to be TOO flippant: you get what you pay for. The Court has appoint counsel and is paying for her/him, not you so it is up to the Judge on whether you receive new counsel. Good luck.

More facts are needed. What's the status of the co-defendant's case? If the case is pending, no, a co-defendant cannot be "forced" to testify. If the co-defendant's case has been pled or finalized, however, a subpoena may be possible.
