You can change attorneys anytime. Once you retain a new attorney, the new attorney will send a letter to prior attorney informing him that he has taken over the representation. You need to find out if there is a video that captured his license plate. If he pulled out of a parking spot and cut in front of you, then you have a great case. You can recover money for any damages to your scooter as well as money for your medical bills, pain and suffering etc.

Yes. QME doesn’t think you are MMI yet. You need to get the treatments QME has recommended and then be evaluated by him so he could provide an MMI report.

Is the doctor providing an opinion as to why he is changing his recommendation?

I suggest you get a second opinion from another doctor ASAP and obtain a neutral opinion AME or QME as well.

You may be entitled to temporary disability and permanent disability payments. However you can not collect both state disability and worker’s compensation temporary disability at the same time. That would be double recovery. You are also entitled to Milage.

Your father can file a claim against the owner of the house where the dog came out from as well as against any tenant who owns the dog. Your dad is entitled to recovery of his medical bills, loss of earnings, pain and suffering etc

Q: When do I let the landlord know that I broke my ankle on the rental property and that I am awaiting surgery?

Accident caused by a flight of stairs. The bottom step is substantially lower than the other 15 steps which caused me to trip and land on my ankle. Tripped a few times over the past 2 years but this time i broke my ankle.
