Tim Akpinar answered on May 3, 2021

This is something that an Arkansas attorney should advise you on, but your post remains open for a week. I'm sorry for your injury. If you had a spinal fusion surgery, that's a big ticket item, suggesting that there might have been a WC claim open at one time. A private insurer is not... Read more »

She got caught forging my signature on the horses registration papers. Now she's sueing me for 20k for the 2 years she's had my horse. What kind of attorney do i need

James E Hensley Jr answered on Apr 15, 2021

Get a lawyer who will answer your calls even on weekends. You will probably owe her some money and she wants to keep the horse instead of taking payment. My cousin is one of the top trainers in the mid-south. Her fee is $375 per month per horse. That would come to around $9,000 in your case. Since... Read more »

An Arkansas attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. As a general matter, ringworm could be a difficult form of injury upon which to base damages in a lawsuit. Added to that is the element of causality, where you would need to demonstrate the specific source of the... Read more »

Q: I was attacked by a security guard at a hospital while on a 72 hour hold for Suicide. The attack was unprovoked.

The Little Rock police department is investigating for felony charges. The whole incident was on video. I’m wanting to sue them but I have never had to search for a lawyer before much less understanding all the areas of practice.

Patrick R. Lee answered on Sep 6, 2019

You should consult an attorney with experience in intentional torts. If this security guard truly did attack you unprovoked, and the whole incident is on video, you could have a strong case against both the security guard and the hospital for any injuries you sustained in the attack.

I would recommend you contact an Arkansas injury lawyer to discuss whether anything can be done in a civil claim. Regarding whether there is criminal liability for what occurred, I would need more information and also direct you to the prosecuting attorney in the County where the wreck occurred.
