Q: How can an entity work in the U.S. if it's not a citizen and can't apply for a work visa.

I was just curious how an entity such as the entity known as Microsoft Corporation could legally own, operate and work for a business within the U.S. if it has no human rights. No birth rights, no work visa, no citizenship

There is not enough information in your question to answer it.

It sounds like he no longer wants it. You might be able to pursue the matter in small claims, depending on the cost of the tub. It could depend on the amount of the check, who the person/entity making payment is, and what type of matter it is. If you're asking from the standpoint of a payment on an insurance claim, it could be as quickly as several days if the release is approved, there are no liens, and no other... View More

My grandmother left my mother and father land and my uncle, the executor, sold the land before my grandmother died

The uncle must have had a power of attorney. Before a testatrix such as your grandmother dies, her will is of no effect. So, as the person nominated as the executor in the will, the uncle would have had no power to convey any property. If, on the other hand, your grandmother also gave him a POA,... View More
