Q: Transportation guidelines for securing imate from hospital to county jail n wheelchair

being transformed and not secured properly fell from wheel chair after going head first outta wheelchair as well as deputy no clue to proper securing ..and then driven shackled on floor head smashed into metal floor and cage...and stating more then one time was not secure nor safe l

you may have a negligence or civil rights violation action.............violation of ADA?

write out what happened and call a local negligence lawyer to present all the facts.

You need to get a copy of the police report at the 1st court appearance, called an Arraignment. Ask the court to appoint a public defender who will assist in your getting the report.

If you are looking to sue the police for damages, then the report will show what the police say the facts...

Q: I'd love to find more information on this, my mother had a similar experience at Raleys in 1986 that left her disabled.

She was my mother and she has now passed, mostly due to her bad health and poverty as a result. She was beat with a baseball bat after dealing with harassment during all of her employment at Raleys. She said there were other women that had been harassed and assaulted at the same time.

Q: What legal actions can be taken against a doc that removed a grievance form from my personal file

I filed request form, then grievance form, then grievance appeal form while in custody.

After release went to county clerks office to get copies of particular case copies and the grievance form was not in the system, but grievance response was present

Q: Can I sue for discrimination if a bank doesn’t let me apply to open a checking account to deposit claim check ?

They told the cfbd that the check wasn’t signed by lender. It was and I sent proof . My contractor left me for not paying deposit as a result

Q: Question about pull over for registration inventory search that ended up a possession charge

Locked glove box broke into literally without key to get a locked money bag that had drugs and paraphernalia. They detained and searched everything for inventory after I told them no searching and I'm not on probation or parole

you can always sue anyone for anything.............the issue is whether you would win and whether you could afford to retain a lawyer or find a lawyer that would take the matter on a lien.

Q: I had a police officer cover up a felony hit&run didn't write a report or file 1.. did not arrest or dui test person

you should contact a local PI lawyer to guide you.

your lawyer should press the police and DA to file if there is evidence.

obviously, if you had insurance you would put it through that carrier.

Q: my motorhome was stolen and sold and i cant get police to help me get it back, yes it was sold without my permission

the people who bought it say they purchased it from me but i have roof i was incarcerated at that time. the police wont honor my pink slip and wont check the valdity of the paperwork the people posess

As Mr. Fazzi said, yes they can. You are driving without a valid license. There are many other ways they could have handled the situation, like leaving the car locked, or having another licensed person move the car. However, they are not required to do so.

however, it is my understanding that an Unlawful Detainer would have to be brought and or a Restraining order if the facts warrant it.

write them to explain the issue and give them X days to respond or you will pursue any and all remedies at your disposal.

if damages are less than $10k consider small claims as you get to court right away.........

You need a good civil rights lawyer or law firm to help you.

The best such firms are in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Do your research in those two markets and you will find some very good attorneys to assist you get the compensation to which you may be entitled.
