It is a state law crime but I'm not aware of it being a federal crime. Perhaps if the incident occuring on federal propery, a federal charge could be added.

Your post is unanswerable. Whether criminal justice is objective or subjective would necessitate a more specific question. Some determinations are subjective (whether to find a witness's testimony to be credible), whereas other determination are objective.

You are both considered adults for court purposes. You would both probably be charged with assault unless there is some clear evidence that it was self-defense.
