If the urinal screens are patented with a current patent, then the product should be marked with a patent number. If they did not mark the item, they may have placed the patent number on the box or shipping container. You may want to do some searching using tips in this slide set.... View More

The issue date, also known as the grant date, is the date at which the patent becomes enforceable. After that time, the patent owner can prevent others from making, selling, or using the claimed invention.

Regarding when a patent expires, this is probably the most common question in patent...

Q: If I wanted to produce this type of device, how do I go about contacting the inventors of this patent?

I want to commercialize a tennis ball mower that collects balls directly into a basket at an elevated height, so that one does not have to ever bend down to pick up any balls. This patent seems like that is what they are describing, but I am uncertain. Currently on the market there is a tennis ball... View More

I do not know the specific patent number you are referencing so I will give a generic answer.

NOTE -- some of these steps can be done in different orders but I listed the easier steps first.

1) Calculate when the term for this patent if all maintenance fees are paid. See my...

No.

Because any land in NJ is subject to the US Constitution, the government has the right of eminent domain.

You will have to continue to pay taxes. Sorry.

(Disclaimer: I do not do real estate law, just patent law, but this seemed like an easy question to answer....

I would try to put onto Google Drive, or any other similar off-site services, anything that you want to keep secret.

It is likely OK, and many attorneys may not worry about it, so I do not mean to scare you. But the problem is that the area of law regarding confidentiality of electronic...

Q: How much does it usually cost for getting provisional and formal patent prepared and submitted by a patent lawer?
Peter D. Mlynek

answered on May 9, 2017

Anywhere between about $2,000 and $15,000.

Most patents can be drafted in the neighborhood of $5,000 to $10,000. If it is much below $5,000 or much above $10,000, there should be some sort of a reason for it.

Good luck!

Q: Can someone have a patent on filling a vending machine with disposable scrubs for hospitals?

I don't see anyone having a patent on the vending machines that sell snacks or sodas. I see a company has a Patent on it..But is it possible that the patent is just on the type of vending machine that they built and it's accessabilty?

It is likely that a vending machine for disposable scrubs would be covered by any number of patents for vending machines (or on various parts of vending machines), even if nobody has ever thought of using vending machines to dispense scrubs. Why? Because patent claims are typically written as... View More

You can contact the owner of the patent with an offer, I highly suggest that before you do this that you talk to a local patent attorney lawyer. Good Luck
