This is something that a tax law attorney should answer. There is a section here, "Tax Law." Not all questions are ultimately answered, but you could try adding "Tax Law" to your headings. You posted three weeks ago and it's possible your question was overlooked in the general category. Good luck

Generally a lien may be placed on property when there has been a judgement, it is allowed by statute, or as allowed by a contract your signed.

Q: I hired a handyman to work on my shower. He took half up front (325.00). He showed up a couple of times and disappeare.

He agreed to send a refund but has not after two weeks. I hired someone to finish the job. I took pictures of the mess he made. His helpers broke additional tile on an adjacent wall. They put the stucco all over and we has to chip out the mess on additional tiles

She came and to visit and took her and said she would bring her back next day. Now she wont answer. She is homless and on drugs . she never brang food or anything for her. Do i have any options to get dog vack or make her be punished ?

Animals are considered property. She now has the animal, so I think that it would be hard to take it away from her. If you still had the dog you could have claimed the puppy "abandoned" and went through the process of changing ownership. Unfortunately, I don't think you can do much at this point.

They would have to prove that you committed some kind of crime and it would depend on the facts and circumstances on how he left his stuff and if he made any attempts to retrieve it in the past year ect ...
