Q: Can a judgment creditor attach a patent to satisfy a debt in Massachusetts?

I am inquiring if an individual judgment creditor can attach a patent owned by the individual who owes the judgment, particularly in cases where there is already a court judgment regarding the debt.

Yes. The creditor must seek a court order that the defendant sign an assignment of the patent rights to the plaintiff, and the plaintiff can then record the judgment with the uspto.
