I provided a recorded statement and a dash cam footage to an adjuster of the party I believe was not at fault. Can my name/info be found out by the other party? Can my dash cam footage be viewed by the other party?

Yes. If a policeman wrote a report, you are most likely named as a witness. Thus, the defendant’s attorney will have access to the report and your statement.

If the truck driver had insurance then I believe you have a good case. My only concern is why you have not hired an attorney yet. Your case happened in the middle of 2018 and you are now in year 2020. The Statute of Limitations is about to expire. I advise you to hire an attorney right away.... View More
The landlords are citing the lease which states that they or their agent have the right to enter the house for an inspection. I think this leaves room for interpretation. They think this is exactly what they are doing, but the lease doesn't state we have to let the bank in. We, my partner and... View More

The landlord has the right to enter for an inspection. However, we are in the middle of a national crisis. You have stated an argument which may stop an eviction for a short while but eventually the house will be sold. There is no stopping that. So, why not suggest to the management, that you... View More

If your son is a minor, you still have a chance to bring a case. If he is now an adult but was a minor two years , please call an attorney to discuss this case. There are statutes of limitations involved that could affect your son’s case. Do not wait one single day. Best of luck.

The inquiry would be who left the door open? You or the owner?
If you were told to keep the door close as part of doing your job, then it is possible that you would be held responsible. If the owner left the door open and you did not know about it, then I do not see how you could be found... View More

First, do you agree with the fire department? if so, you do not have a case. However, if you do not, hire a lawyer and get your own expert. I live in the state of California and I am wondering how does the insurance company handle situations where a minor is injured due to a auto accident How does the insurance company go about compensating personal injury to the minor
answered on Feb 20, 2020
Normally, You must name a Guardian Ad Litem and file and serve the case within 6 months if you are suing a state government agency and within two years for a regular accident case. In the case of minors, you have special statutes of limitations and you should hire an attorney to advise you.

First of all. Is your rent due from before the bankruptcy? If so, it is illegal for the lawyer to call you, specially if the debt was discharged by the bankruptcy. If the rent due is for payment due after the bankruptcy, then it is ok for the lawyer to do everything within legal means to collect... View More
