Handicapped Parking Space Question
I am seeking advise about Georgia Code 40-6-221.
The problem is that I work at a private company with parking spaces designated as handicapped and non-handicapped people park in them every day. I contact the police department and their response was that it was not enforceable by the PD because the signage was made of wood, and only 4 feet from the ground. It seems odd to me that someone can break the law and the police have no authority over the space because of the sign.
Does this "special circumstance" apply to the stop signs made from wood as well?
