A: You can always represent yourself Pro Se. However, this is not recommended as navigating criminal law, hybrid civil law, and administrative proceedings can be complicated. Speak with a local criminal defense attorney who regularly handles these matters for a consultation. Make sure it is done correctly the first time.

A: You can always try to do it yourself but your chances of success are minimal. Additionally, depending on the timing of your DWI's you might not be eligible for an Occupational License until you have finished the "hard" suspension period. You could file your petition which would be roughly $300 in court costs, only to find out that you are not eligible form the license. Also, it is a right not a privilege and therefore not guaranteed even of you are eligible. An attorney would be better equipped to argue on your behalf.
