Q: I was hurt in a car accident caused by someone running a red light. I am broke. I need help suing the driver.

A: I am sorry to hear of your accident. I hope you are recovering. I would immediately contact a Minnesota attorney. Make sure that you file a police report with your version of the accident, get the names and phone numbers of any witnesses, and make sure that if the defendant was charged with anything that you find out the court date and go to it. Tell the prosecutor when you get there that you are the victim, as they call it, and tell them of any damages you have sustained, either your car and/or medical.
