Q: If my ex appeals a divorce support ruling and I can't afford an appeals attorney, what happens to the case?
The divorce spousal support case ruling was first appealed by me; I won. Then the local Judge came back with a fair ruling for me and my ex appealed. It was sent back again to the local Judge. He has ruled again. I do not think it is fair to me, but I just want to get this out of my life. My attorney intends to quit. So my question is, if my ex appeals the last ruling and since I have no money to hire another attorney, what will happen to the case, if he is the only one who can pay for an appellate attorney?
