Q: what can a peace officer do for me?
I'm wondering what the limitations are for a peace officer? I called one to be present at the pickup of my son from his mother's house because her father threatened me. He was not only late, but went inside to talk to the family and then accused me of taking care of my son properly. I am wondering why, if he was there to protect me, he had to talk to the family and here their false accusations against me.
