Q: Received support order while incarcerated. I couldn't pay obviously. Got a new one and ready to pay. What could happen

I couldn't pay because I was in prison when received the order . I'm assuming I have back child support now. I'm free and got a new order which I'm waiting to hear back now and ready to pay. What could happen being i couldn't pay because I was in prison but am out now and ready to pay?

A: You have to actually go see an attorney about this. They can try to get you held in contempt of court for failing to pay.
