Q: How likely am i to receive Alimony?

I met my husband in 1995, had a child 1996, married 2001. Separated 2003, divorce finalized 2005 by default husband never showed to final hearing. I was given sole custody and child support orders. He was denied vistation until he presented himself to court which he never did. No payments were ever made on CS. Judgement for arrears entered 2008. We reconciled and moved back in together late 2008 and remarried 2010. only to have him desert and abandon us in Australia 201 with no way to support ourselves. I located him in 2013.upon return to USA and our Daughter turned 18 may 2014. our combined income when together was approx. 150k/yr IN Oct.2014, i was diagnosed with an incurable fatal condition and can no longer work as a nurse. His avg income is 55-58k/yr, my disability will be 1600/mo. He is claiming he doesnt owe CS for 2008-2012. I have filed for Arrearage plus interest, and now due to illness also alimony.

A: You need to get an attorney on this matter. You are not likely to get alimony in my opinion based upon what you wrote. But I could be wrong.
