Greeley, CO asked in Child Support for Colorado

Q: How do I find a sliding scale or pro bono lawyer?

My ex is a psychopath and very cunning he was extremely abusive to me and got away with it. I never kept him from seeing his daughter ever despite how he treated me. Fast forward to now I live in CO he moved to wy. I was in a car accident and didn't have a car. The judge said I didn't care about my daughter's relationship and I could have easily found someone to drive me to WY twice a week. (Yea right). I make 12 dollars an hour. He has a lawyer I dont. He makes more than me and is constantly taking me to court. The judge there hates me and believes my exes sob stories. I pay for everything. sports clothes you name it. He pays 300 in child support (which I spend in gas for trips to wy) Then he gets to claim her 2 out of every 3 years in taxes. He does not put in the work and financial effort I put in not even close. I also now owe him 6k in lawyer fees and for trips I missed when I didn't have A car. I can't get legal aid bc he did once/conflict of interest. Pls help :(

A: Look on the internet for someone who might offer pro-bono services or call Colorado Legal Services.
