A: I assume your daughter is 18 years of age, but not yet 19 years of age. A Petition for "relief from nonage" would be filed to recognize that she is emancipated because she is a member of the armed forces. Go to court and make this filing with the court which established child support. Your MUST do this with the court. Don't try to just stop paying. Get a Court order.
