Q: Wat do ihave to do to get custody of my grandbaby the mother is strung out on herion and i will not let her take her

My daughter has left her baby with me off and on for a yr and now she has been with me over a month she thought she was gonna come take her yesterday so to protect my grandbaby i called cps and marion county police and they came and took a report and i am now waiting for dcf worker my daughter was useing drugs and prostitution right in front of her baby and leaving this baby with anyone so i took heroutta the situation and now she want to take her back into that situation i just can not allow that to happen so ididwhat i had to to protect my grandbaby canu please giveesomeadvise as to wat to do from this point

A: Go see a local attorney about filing a petition for temporary custody by extended family.
