Asbury Park, NJ asked in Real Estate Law for New Jersey

Q: Is a quit claim deed valid if it has my deceased mother's name on it also she can't sign

my mom left 3 siblings (one is the PR and a thief) 1/3 each of her house. My brother tricked me and my other brother into signing a quit claim deed over to him so he could "sell the house faster with only 1 name on deed" I looked the property up and it records my deceased mothers name and my name as grantors. I was fooled into signing as both deponent and grantor

A: You and your brother need to retain an experienced attorney right away. This is not something to play around with or try to do on your own. Good luck.
