Q: If I make an offer and submit a deposit, do I have the ability to get out of the contract and get my deposit back?
There are known issues with the house (mold/water penetration) and I want to make sure I can get out of the contract with my deposit if the problems are bigger than initially expected.
A: Your best bet is not to even get into the contract. Mold is very problematic. Good luck.
