Q: How can my mom put my grandmothers home in her name My grandmother died a few days ago. Can she occupy as well.
My granny died not long ago no one else name is on her home but hers. My mom wants to move into the home. She was told that she had to go to probate court in order to put the house in her name. My mother is the only child. And there was no WILL Can she still move into the home while she is in the court process? She doesn't want to leave the home empty.
A: She has already been told that this needs to go through the probate court. I do not know why she would not be able to stay in the home during the process.
