Q: Can my wife sign temporary custody over to grandmother with out my consent
Wife is in jail, before turning herself in she sign temp custody over to her mom. Can she do this with out notifing me first. We are still legally married. Why can't I go get my child?
A: No. You have to consent too. Without your consent, the grandmother will have to prove that you are unfit by clear and convincing evidence. Get an attorney immediately.
