Orlando, FL asked in Immigration Law for Florida

Q: What do I do if DHS filed deportation proceedings even though I am a US Citizen through the Child Citizenship Act of 2k?

I have been a legal permanent resident since 1996 living under my mothers custody, a US citizen, and residing in the United States. In 2001, since I was 15 years old, the CSA automatically made me a citizen. I have, however, only have my green card and traveled to Mexico using that. When I came back I was detained by DHS because of two previous cannabis misdemeanor arrests and began deportation proceedings. In my deposition, in the secure facility of the airport when asked if I was a US citizen I answered "yes" but the DHS officer was unfamiliar with the CSA of 2000 and changed my deposition and wrote that I answered "no, I am not a US citizen" and officially filed deportation proceedings. I was also held like a prisoner in a cell for 7 hours. They took my green card and let me in the country with a parole sticker on my passport like a criminal. What is the next step? What can I do to show I am a US citizen?
