Q: How can I fire an attorney that my brother found to represent my fathers estate?
My siblings and I had an attorney handling our father's probate case. My brother made the attorney so mad that he quit. My brother found a new attorney. We agreed to have the attorney handle the case. The attorney stated that he is not representing just my brother, but the estate. The first attorney was within 30 days of finishing everything when the new attorney took over at the end of 2014. Since then, nothing has happened in court nor will the attorney return any phone calls. I've even sent 2 certified letters requesting him to call. What can I do to remove him from the case?
A: Probably go see another attorney and hire that attorney to substitute for the one you want gone.
