Q: mother of child trying to manipulate system to get max money for child support is it legal, how would judge calculate

I make 1500 month before tax,, different child support calculators have me at $307,, havent done court yet.. we had verbal equal custody agreement. now 3 years later mother is making demands so we are going to take it to court... she never worked and is supported by her parents. they moved 250+ miles away and wont give me address. child out of wedlock. now that she knows court is coming she got a part time job at resturant and her parents put child in 600$ month daycare.,, with new daycare cost in child support calculator, the original $307 doubled. would my support payments be 307 + daycare (full/split) ,+ travel, or will judge see through the shinanagins. mom qualifies for free pre k and very low income daycare.. normal daycares are half of this ($70 week).. what if they want to put child in 1000$ or more private school, I only make 1500 month before taxes and live 250+ miles away.. what would happen here or what can I do.. its all an attempt to collect more

A: You need to hire an attorney, one who has calculated the child support guidelines since they first came into the law back in the latter part of the 1980s.

A: Support is based on child support guidelines. Private school is not part of child support.

Use of a lawyer is recommended.
